About Hang
Written by Olivier
Hang was born in a coastal town in Vietnam, and she grew up in a little village in the mountains.
She went to school in the morning and worked at her Mother's Coffee shop in the afternoon. Excellent in math and literature, teachers asked her mother to go to University. So she joined Hanoï University to do a master's in science. At the same time, she learned French to discuss with her grandfather and to respond to some sweet notes a young boy sent her at that time.
The University was a turn in Hang's adult life. She met classmates that are still in touch with. Today, they have regular lunches or weekends.
I remember in 2019, Hang and I were in Hanoï. In the morning, she decided to organize a lunch with her classmate to introduce me. At noon, 15 ladies joined us at the restaurant! That's the way of living in Hanoï with Hang. This experience was memorable for me. I recognize the strong friendship with these ladies.
After University, she integrated the Ministry of Commerce as her first job. Then, she got married and gave birth to Nguyen and Trung. She applied for a Public Management Master's led by Harvard University. She stayed in Singapore, in New Zealand and traveled in Australia, Japan, and overseas Asia. She also spent one year in France.
In 2006, she visited Switzerland for business needs. It was in June, and she marveled at the yellow yields in the countryside. To view one more time these beautiful sceneries, she promised herself to come back to Switzerland.
A few years later, she had the opportunity to move to Switzerland. She accepted and landed in Geneva with her two boys and her mother. It was challenging for all family members, for her mother, who doesn't speak French or English, for the teenagers to go to school in a very different environment such as teachers, methods, languages, neighborhood, and weather. Amid the pitfalls, all of them succeeded.
Today, Hang works for the World Trade Organization in a program that enhances international trade and fosters woman's entrepreneurship and commerce.
This job makes Hang blossom. She is still traveling all over the planet, and the mission fits her values.

Well, almost!
Hang's qualities are generosity, respect for others, caring, kindness, smiling, cheerfulness, perseverance, energy, and righteousness.
Also, she is a chef. You bring any ingredients, and she creates an outstanding dish.
At home, it's sometimes another Hang. She likes to be right. It's also hard to be on time for an appointment because, at the very last minute, she has to do something urgently before leaving. So, sometimes I announce the appointment 15 minutes before the actual time. Hang's treasure is her boys Nguyen and Trung. Very difficult to cut the cord even if they are over 18!
Living with Hang is a daily joy.
I am proud to love my "little sweety bird"
I am very proud to be loved by Hang.
About Olivier
written by Hang
Olivier was born in a small coastal village in the West of France, nearby Bretagne. He likes to study. He completed two master's degrees in business and management and still keeps learning throughout his profession and social life. However, when Olivier and I first met, Olivier was afraid of learning a new language and a new culture. This remains a life-learning target for Olivier. But significant progress has been made and is on track.
Olivier is an expert in management by education and profession. Output design and milestones delivery is our daily mantra. At work, Olivier has been proud of many achievements delivered through strategic and IT projects in Rolex, Oracle, Geneva state, MSC, and now at Tata Consultancy Services and Skyguide Corporation.
In life, Olivier delivered three important milestones in time: Clément, Anne-Cecile, and Matthieu. Olivier is a very role model father. He loves and cares a lot about his
children and my children, as well.
However, Olivier's yearly resolutions, about ten targets or so, have been carried over year-to-year, and milestones are still on the far horizon… So these are absolutely not in Olivier's monitoring and evaluation framework, nor in the milestone delivery dashboard.
In his professional life, Olivier has been working for private companies and many public sector clients. At home, Olivier is surrounded by public-related matters, from public relations at the WTO and EIF to daily news of the Vietnam Government and the Communist party.
Olivier likes playing with numbers, such as Sudoku. He also specialized in maths in high schools, like Hang. But Olivier looks at math in a big picture and counting on Hang for memorizing and planning the family budget and expenses.
Together, we have delivered many relevant milestones in social and private life. These include PADI diving licenses in the Maldives, the Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) on Business Transformation at Geneva University, Golf parcourse authorization licenses, a dream kitchen, and a Japanese-style toilet. Olivier is on the right track to becoming a Master Chef in aid cuisine.
Oliver's best place is the sofa. The best moments are lying on the sofa, watching movies, often the same over time, TV programs on Animaux and Planet while applying shea butter cream on Hang's foot.

In quiet time when Hang sleeps or does her yoga, Olivier reads comic books, and detective stories, listens to BFM business news, and sometimes goes online shopping for Hang.
Olivier is very fond of my friends and vice versa. I always like to welcome Olivier's friends to enjoy Vietnamese food.

He is very kind, generous, and gentle but sometimes a bit grumpy.
Olivier is such a pleasant and lovely life partner. We dream that when we get old, we will open a tea room in a small village to meet people and chat, drink coffee and read newspapers on the terrasse, take care of the garden, and sometimes continue our consulting work and chatting with friends around the world.
